Kazama Won Again !
Kazama won the D1 for the 3rd time in a row at Irwindale. In control of his style and determined to win, there was no
doubt about his victory. Kumakubo did battle honorably and the rest of the field faught hard, but it was again the Night
for Kazama to win the 1st round of the season series.
Some of the Americans did battle very well - Samuel Hubinette getting all the way to the semi showed up ready to battle
and his Viper performed well. The Mustang looked average that day, and Suenega didn't perform to his potential, but again
Look for him to come back very strong the rest of the year. He will challenge Kazama again, I like him and He deserves to
win. He will win at least 2 races this year, mark my words :).
Where was Tanigushi ? and we missed the GTO.
Look for some more great action in the following US Formula D championship and the Japanese D1 continuation of the season
in Japan and back at Irwindale in December for the championship finale.
Drifting Rasta had a blast again, and we'll stay tuned...Check out some of our pictures of the competition and the car
show at the March 3rd D1GP 2006.
